Jonathan Costello, Senior Associate – Since joining Safeguard International in 2000, Mr. Costello has been responsible for all aspects of the investing business including deal sourcing, due diligence, deal negotiation, debt financing and portfolio company development. Prior to this, Mr. Costello was an Associate for Howard Industries, a middle market private equity firm focused on manufacturing and industrial technology companies. He also worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Manager in the Financial Regulatory Consulting Group. In that capacity, he advised companies in a number of industries including insurance, brokerage, banking and manufacturing. He is a certified public accountant, with extensive audit experience. Mr. Costello received his undergraduate degree in Accountancy from Villanova University. He earned his M.B.A. from The Columbia Graduate School of Business, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma
