PFW Awarded Major A380 Fluid System Contract
Speyer, Germany, March, 2003 – PFW has been selected to design and manufacture the majority of the A380 fluid distribution systems. The contract award encompasses the following systems: APU Fuel, Hydraulic, Oxygen, Supplemental Cooling, Water/Waste and Fire Extinguishing. The contract is valued at approximately $200 Million over the life of the program.

First deliveries systems required by the 4th quarter. The Integrated Project Teams have transitioned from the proposal stage to full scale development in response to the aggressive schedule. Support includes an onsite technical team at Airbus in Hamburg.
