PFW Awarded AMS Tubing Kit for Embraer 170 family
Speyer, Germany, March, 2003 – PFW, Germany, has been awarded by Hamilton Sundstrand (HS) to supply the Air Management System (AMS) Tubing Kit for the Embraer 170 family. HS produces the complete AMS System at its Windsor Locks, CT, facility. The AMS Tubing Kit consists of several insulated stainless steel and aluminum ducts with a complicated lining, which requires a new bending technology. PFW already supplies similar tubing systems. The contract value has not been disclosed.

First delivery of the Kit will be during the fourth quarter of 2003. The Project Teams of both companies have transitioned rapidly from the proposal stage into full-scale production in response to the challenging time schedule.
