PFW Subsidiary Established in Turkey

Speyer, Germany, June, 2003 – As a reaction to market demands, PFW has established PFW Havacilik Sanayi in the Aegean Free Zone in Izmir, Turkey.

The first production team members arrived at their new facility this week, marking the establishments of PFW Havacilik Sanayi, following several months of training at PFW’s Speyer headquarters.

The initial 2500 square meter production area is to be used to assemble structural elements such as Additional Center Fuel Tanks and Pressurized Floor and Frames. An additional 3000 square meters will be used to fulfill offset obligations of existing and new customers. Deliveries begin in August of this year.
