Marc Walinsky

Marc Walinsky, Senior Associate - - Mr. Walinsky joined Safeguard International in 2000. Mr. Walinsky is responsible for all aspects of Safeguard International’s private equity business including deal sourcing, due diligence, deal negotiation, debt financing and portfolio company development. Before joining the Fund, Mr. Walinsky worked with Bank of America Capital Investors, the private equity arm of Bank of America. At Bank of America Capital Investors, Mr. Walinsky worked on growth financings, recapitalizations and buyouts of companies in various industries including basic manufacturing, media/telecom, financial services and business services. Mr. Walinsky began his career at Bank of America Securities, working as an analyst in its Leveraged Finance/High Yield Group where he worked on underwriting senior and subordinated debt in conjunction with acquisitions and leveraged buyouts and for general corporate purposes. Mr. Walinsky graduated from the University of Michigan Business School where he earned his B.B.A and Masters in Accounting.
